She's Come Undone!

Yikes! What happened to the wrap? It seems that the Structural Engineer visited the construction site and decided that more nails and metal bracing had to be added to the structure...remember we have hurricanes in these parts. So off came the Tyvek and on went the heavy metal. This little puppy won't fly!

There are more photos of the...hold on!... AC and spacing of the eves in the slide show to the right.

  1. OMG! I thought the whole freaking thing was coming down from the title...... Thank goodness you have a builder that has the guts to say "hold the phone". Looks like it's coming along fine. BTW we got back last Thurs nite...........Going to the local HEB for supplies was depressing........Maryanne xo

  2. Glad it's only one step backwards!

    I love the potted plants in the picture. Are they herbs?

    I bring some of mine in every fall. I love the way they make the house smell, and how I can snip some for the salad or to sprinkle on soup.
