We Honor You
Today is U.S. Veterans Day, so in honor of all our soldiers, from every branch of the military, from every battle and every war, we put our hands to our hearts and salute you. In honor of Allied troops who served and are serving we likewise salute you.
And in honor of the families of military veterans: you also served your country with sacrifice and patriotism, thus, we offer to you our heartfelt thanks. For, "They also serve who only stand and wait."*
*The last line of "On His Blindness," by John Milton, has been adopted as a motto by many military service/support groups the world over.
