  1. I say to mine never to use the word hate.Dislike of war is also too weak a word .My father was a bomber underground as his 4 brothers did when Norway was occupied. My aunts were tortured and abused ,my grandmother tortured disabled the rest of her life (hard to walk). When we came to the USA Fritz our German neighbor became a great friend. We have to forgive for our own well being.Again we should have a Memorial day as not to forget and to honor those who have been at war.But forgiving is still the most important.

  3. Sorry...I ran off at the mouth about war and then had second thoughts. I don't want to get into any sort of controversy. Thank you so much for your sentiments for our servicemen.
This is a hard day for me and I must be careful of what I say.
~smiles~ I am so glad you like my new bloggy dress. It's my good one you know! :)
I love dressing my blog as much as I like writing and posting on it.
Thank you so much for your visit!

  4. Mona: Thanks for dropping by. I honor your sentiments and understand. My father was a young soldier who was wounded in WWII, then learned to walk and speak again; and my first husband served in Vietnam twice. During the Vietnam war, I and other military wives accompanied the telegrams from DOD that informed the family of the death of their service member. As a therapist, I've had many a young, wounded veteran on my caseload. So I understand when someone says they hate war.
