Antique Show: Texas Style, Part 3

Oh! Where are we now? Still in Round Top, Texas at the Marburger Farm Antique Show. Of all the things I saw there, this had to be my favorite (from Utopia Antiques.) It's a photo of a large marble room, printed on a very large piece of heavy plastic, with grommets at the top for hanging. Can't you just see it covering a wall in a loft? The room brought on déjà vu for many of us. I've been in that room but cannot remember when or where. It has to be Paris. Jacqui Stoneman, the antiques dealer offering this wonderful piece, didn't know either. Anyone recognize the place?

Of all the business cards I collected, this one from Jacqui of Utopia Antiques, out of Dallas, Texas, is my favorite. The angel on the card was a construction that Utopia recently sold. But if you want that French room above, it may still be available. Don't you just love the drama it exudes?

Feast your eyes on the displays below. Remember to click on photos to get a better view.

Tomorrow, in Part 4, we'll be looking at Pure Country and some sweet little nests. See you later!

  1. From the blogs that post about Texas flea markets and antique shows I am utterly convinced that I need to see one for myself. This looked fantastic.
